Prior to her role as Medical Director, Melissa specialized in women's health and preventative care, serving as the clinical partner for the Department of Maternal Fetal Medicine at GBMC Hospital. Graduating with honors from Simmons University in Boston, MA, with a Master of Science in Nursing, Melissa is an active member of prestigious organizations such as the American Nurse Association, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the Nurse Practitioner Association of Maryland.
With a strong background in primary and preventative care, Melissa has worked as a clinical consultant for wellness and weight management programs. Certified as a diabetic educator, she empowers her patients with invaluable insights into obesity, weight management, and diabetes control, guiding them on a journey of informed health choices.

While her journey began as the Practice Manager for Chronic Pain Treatment Centers, Regan now brings her wealth of experience and unwavering commitment to the forefront of aesthetic and wellness care.
With over a decade of medical expertise, Regan stands as a cornerstone in her domain, channeling her knowledge to elevate the standard of care in aesthetic treatments. Her dedication goes beyond professional responsibilities; she fosters a supportive environment for staff, providers, and patients alike.
Regan is a beacon of effective leadership and a quintessential team player, seamlessly transitioning from roles such as front desk receptionist and Medical Assistant to the orchestration of practice management. Her versatility is a testament to her comprehensive understanding of the various facets of medical offices.
Hailing from the scenic locales of Gettysburg, PA, and with roots in Fairfield, PA, and Thurmont, MD, Regan's local connection resonates with the community. She fortified her educational journey at FCC, earning her Medical Assistant degree, CNA Certificate, and GNA Certificate.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Regan finds solace in the embrace of her two children, family, and friends. A nature enthusiast, she loves the outdoors and finds peace at the beach. Regan's bustling life includes a charming menagerie of animals, from dogs to cows, chickens, and goats, adding vitality and joy to her daily routine.

Katie Sutton, a dedicated board-certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in Family Nursing, is a pivotal member of the Frederick Wellness and Aesthetics team. Katie's journey towards healthcare excellence began at the University of Maryland, College Park, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Spanish in 2008. After working with adults with intellectual disabilities, Katie's passion for healthcare led her to Howard Community College, where she earned her Associate Degree in Nursing in 2015. She furthered her education, obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from the University of Maryland School of Nursing in December 2016.
Katie commenced her nursing career in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at the University of Maryland Medical Center, gaining valuable experience in critical care. However, driven by a desire for a more influential role in patient care, Katie pursued a graduate degree as a family nurse practitioner at Georgetown University, graduating with honors in May 2022. In 2019, she transitioned from the ICU to a private cardiology practice in Rockville, MD, where she diagnosed and managed patients with various cardiac diagnoses, including an expanded role in electrophysiology.
Joining the Frederick Wellness and Aesthetics team in September 2023, Katie brings her expertise and passion for personalized care to our practice. Brittney's academic journey started at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Services before pursuing a Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. Transitioning to nursing, she earned an Associate Degree in Nursing from Montgomery College and later a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Walden University. Throughout her nursing career, Brittney has worked in various specialties, including Orthopedics, Cardiac, Stroke, and Medical-Surgical.
As an Assistant Nurse Manager, Brittney continued her education, achieving a Master's Degree in Nursing with a specialization in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care. Board Certified as an Adult Gerontologic Nurse Practitioner and licensed in Maryland and West Virginia, Brittney's passion for patient care shines through her proactive approach to managing acute geriatric patients.
Having served as a Center Nurse Practitioner in Martinsburg, WV, Brittney provided comprehensive clinical education to staff and patients while overseeing those with chronic conditions. Her role as a panel board member showcased her commitment to selecting top-tier providers for her organization, underscoring her dedication to elevating healthcare standards.
With over 12 years of Acute Care Inpatient Nursing experience across various specialties, Brittney's passion for nursing and commitment to continuous learning set her apart. Holding active nursing licenses in DC, MD, and WV, her diverse skill set encompasses medication administration, nurse management, and primary care experience.
Certified in Gerontological Nursing and as an Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, Brittney upholds the highest standards of care in her practice.
